"FF" ->
written, recorded, produced, mixed & mastered by gerrard. made in ableton using mostly modular synths (ala pixie, bela gliss, noise engineering bia, knobula polycinematic, make noise function, run into my moog grandmother for filter adsr and mixer) & a guitar run through chase bliss lost & found and brothers and hologram microcosm. rly not much editing done in ableton tbh what you hear is what i heard when tracking.
the song originally was very different, started a few months after i finished my debut EP i. its monday & im happy. was searching for a new sound and ended up scrapping that, but wrote this chorus that i never could let go of and that chuck ended up singing w/ me. the re-work was inspired by a memory of mine w/ underscores, chuck, & katt in a hotel room doing random experimental things on laptops in ableton & i tried to channel that energy into the new form this took.
