FF Press Release (2026)
"FF" – self produced and released via Ephemeral Bliss, featuring longtime collaborator Chuck Sutton (known for producing Ableton's Live 12 demo track and "BRAND NEW SOUND" with underscores). The track was inspired by a post-show experimental session on laptops in a Little Tokyo hotel room with underscores, Chuck, and Katt (Six Impala). We were making weird, absurd stuff on laptops in Ableton which never went anywhere, but that ethos is what I tried to inject into this song after being heavily inspired by the evolution of the electronic scene so many of my peers and friends have been a part of.
Built on modular synths, "FF" synthesizes the electronic world I have been surrounded by with my own indie adjacent songwriting. Lyrically, "FF" is about unresolved trauma showing up in day to day life and being so far down that you stop fearing anything. Like when your cup is fully empty, but the flipside of that is that you can fill it with anything. The cover art was shot on my Mamiya RB67 on 120 film and is unedited from its original state. Like every part of my music, I firmly believe in handcrafting each detail surrounding the work.
